Each online storefront can be opened and closed by creating an “ordering cycle” that will only display the products that can be purchased during the open food cycle. It is possible for storefronts to have multiple simultaneously open ordering cycles, for example allowing for delivery/pickups for multiple days of the week. The primary innovation here is the platform interface makes it clear to the consumer what they can order and when the ordering cycle closes. They will be able to place their order any time before the ordering cycle closes and will be charged once the cycle is closed.
